The 5th edition of the foreign language teaching conference
The 5th International Conference on New Approaches in Education (ICNAEDUCATION) will take place on 09-11 September 2022, at The Marivaux Hotel Congress & Seminar Centre, Brussels, Belgium. The foreign language teacher conference brings together teachers, practitioners, researchers, and foreign language instructors from all over the world to share findings, experience and expertise about innovative foreign language teaching and learning methodologies, through oral presentations, poster sessions, and social functions. All accepted submissions of FLT conference 2022 will be included in the FLT conference proceedings. We are predominantly, but not exclusively, interested in submissions that address the foreign language teaching conference 2022 themes and topics.

Presentation Title: Lessons from Covid: What educators learned during the pandemic to increase student engagement and success
Dr. Letitia Basford is the Faculty Director for the Center for Teaching & Learning and a Professor of Teacher Education at Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota in the United States. Her teaching and research interests focus on students’ equitable access to education.
Dr. Carol Klages

Presentation Title: Cleaning Out the Junk Drawer of Education: It's Time to Discard, Declutter and Donate What Doesn't Work
Carol Klages is a professor at the University of Houston-Victoria located in Victoria, Texas. After graduating from The University of Texas, she remained in the secondary classroom for thirteen years. She has worked in higher education for twenty years preparing the next generation of educators. Dr. Klages teaches undergraduate methods courses as well as graduate courses in social studies as well as literacy. She opened a dyslexia clinic that provides literacy instruction for learners of all ages. Her research interests include teacher candidates’ perceptions of teaching and learning and the use of multisensory teaching strategies to teach reading as well as use in all content areas.
